Phase II soil/groundwater investigations

JECSI provides oversight throughout the site assessment process including the preparation of work plans and reports of findings for soil and groundwater investigations, negotiations with regulatory agencies, oversight of field work, coordination of laboratory analysis, evaluations of current site conditions, and evaluations of remediation options.  Field activities conducted by JECSI include the collection of soil vapor, soil, and groundwater samples using a variety of techniques, classification of soil, evaluation of health and safety procedures, evaluation of quality assurance/quality control procedures, labeling of waste materials, purging and sampling of groundwater monitoring wells, measurements of physical properties of soil boring and groundwater monitoring well locations, and subsurface clearance activities.
 
Site assessments are conducted based on applicable requirements to assist with site characterization, closure of underground storage tanks, facility closure, and projects initiated under the direction of regulatory agencies.  JECSI develops and negotiates scopes of work based on cost, regional subsurface conditions, site conditions, and site history.
