The management of underground storage tanks (USTs) containing petroleum and other hazardous substances is essential in preventing the potential threat of leaks and spills which could result in impacts to soil and groundwater. Regulations require that facilities inspect and test USTs to prevent releases that could occur during filling of USTs and leaks directly from the USTs. JECSI will work with your company to coordinate inspections and develop a proper monitoring plan specific to the UST(s) at your facility. In addition to monitoring and testing requirements, JECSI provides assistance in the closure and removal of USTs. JECSI can also prepare reimbursement claims from cleanup funds for costs associated with remediating impacts from leaking USTs.
