Our REACH (Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) modules serve as a tracking system for REACH and RoHS request to be monitored. REACH entered into force on 1 June 2007. REACH streamlines the former legislative framework on chemicals of the European Union (EU), and prohibits manufactures and importers from placing products and preparations into commerce that have not been registered with the European Chemicals Agency.
RoHS restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment and was adopted in February 2003 by the EU. The applications offered on both tracking system facilitate a client when complying with each regulation.
